2007: Simeon Chien develops an interest in music after hearing Billy Joel playing, whilst doing brain gym
2008: Simeon Chien starts singing a cover of "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel, then learns piano.
2009: Simeon Chien learns guitar, bass and drums for the first time
2011: Simeon Chien performs covers of other artists, during his work experience, school talent shows concerts
2012: Simeon Chien writes and records his first solo album "All For The Tower"
2013: Simeon Chien writes and records his second solo album "The Suspension Bridge"
2014: Simeon Chien writes and records his third solo album "Funked By Rap"
2015: Simeon Chien writes and records his fourth solo album "Bass Guitar Man"
2016: Simeon Chien writes and records his fifth solo album "A Day In New York City"
2017: Simeon Chien writes and records his sixth solo album "The Night"
2018: Simeon Chien writes and records his seventh solo album "The Whole World".
Simeon Chien forms the Simeon Chien Band project for his gigs of Simeon Chien Music.
2019: Simeon Chien writes and records his eighth solo album "Storm Blow".
Simeon Chien asks fellow musicians Annie Mather on drums, Kenneth Scott on guitar and bass, Stew Methven on guitar and Iona Wheeler on keyboard to collaborate with him to use his solo material at live shows and they successfully work on Chien's material.
Simeon Chien receives his honours degree in popular music from the university of the highlands and islands.
Simeon Chien contacts the New Castle based free radio station 'Chat And Spin Radio' to broadcast his music, which is now officially promoted worldwide. In other words, Simeon Chien's music officially receives its first public broadcast.

COVID-19 spreads worldwide, causing Simeon to postpone his planned and up and coming shows.

During the lockdown for the coronavirus pandemic, Simeon performs virtually on Virtual Concerts Scotland on Saturday 18th April 2020.
